Here are some old slides I've found at home from the 1970s, captured in the 1960s, published by Képzőművészeti Alap (Hungarian Fine Arts Fund). The film stock is East-German ORWO slide (duplicating?) film - popular in the central and eastern part of Europe.
The credit of the photographs is unknown to me at this time, but maybe most of the photographers were members of MTI (Magyar Távirati Iroda, Hungarian News Agency) staff.
These slides are mostly very faded. They were cleaned before scanning, but they are so severely scratched and dirty, it was hopeless to remove all the mud from the surface. You cannot see this so clearly when projected.
I'm planning to re-photograph these scenes to see what has changed during these 40+ years - an exciting plan for me!
Let this selection stand for the memory of the great photographers of Hungary.
